This one took a while.
I’ve been cooking obsessively for years. Testing, failing, adjusting, and testing again. Savory Kitchin started as a way to share what I was learning, but somewhere along the way it became clear that what I really wanted was to put it all in one place. A real collection. Something you could hold (or print out and splatter with pan drippings, which honestly is the goal).
So here it is. My first cookbook. And I won’t pretend I’m not ridiculously proud of it.
I’ve made every single recipe in this book in my own kitchen. It wasn’t a professional test kitchen or developed by a group of people, but by me, my stove and a frankly huge amount of attempts. I’ve included the explanations of why things taste good, what wine to drink with the food, and how to do each step. It’s all the information I actually needed when I was learning for myself and now it’s here for you.
